Ashly Costa

Ashly Costa grew up in Utah and began dancing in her mother (Kim Delgrosso's) dance studio (Center Stage Performing Arts Studios) at age 3, training in Ballet, Jazz,Tap, Modern, Hip Hop, and at age 12 she was introduced to ballroom. Ashly competed in the Jazz and ballroom worlds throughout her teenage years winning multiple youth US Ten Dance championships and the US Amateur 10 dance championship. After graduating high school, Ashly competed ballroom professionally and performed with Odyssey Dance Theater for 5 years before she made her Television debut on the hit ABC TV show Dancing with the Stars where she danced for 4 seasons partnering with singer Joey McIntyre, Master P, Harry Hamlin and finally on season 10 with the American rocket hero Buzz Aldrin. Ashly has been featured on the Suite Life with Zack and Cody, Jonas Brothers, America's Funniest video's, Late Night with Jimmy Kimmel, Regis and Kelly, GMA, and many more. Ashly has been working in the Jazz convention world for over 10 years and has been featured on the cover of Dance Spirit magazine for her unique ability to connect with dancers of all backgrounds and teach them about ballroom style, technique and ways to incorporate ballroom partnering techniques into their routines. Ashly loves sharing her passion for dance with the next generation and is excited to be a part of the NUVO faculty. When she's not out touring or teaching master classes and choreographing at studios across the country Ashly can be found with her greatest loves of all; her husband and four amazing children.
